Local Missions

Each year, Spectrum Church has participated in filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, and this past Christmas we served for the first time as a drop off center to others in the community.

Two all-church projects recently provided welcome and holiday baskets for The Sheepfold ministry and first aid kits for Mexicali. Each year, donations for Christmas Eve are designated to non-profits such as Home for Refugees. And just over the border in El Nino, Mexico, our teams have participated in building projects and fiestas.

We also participate in the Compton Initiative, “Just Do Right,” and have previously led a Jr. High Missions trip to downtown L.A. to work “on the streets” with those in need and a volunteer work day at the Orange County Rescue Mission.
